MUSIC RETREAT
A space composed to celebrate the colors and textures of music
The client for this project is passionate about experiences. Whether he is flying an airplane, driving one of his classic cars or listening to music, he yearns to amplify the experience. It was his passion for music that brought him to our door, seeking an architect who could help design a structure on his personal property that would allow him to fully immerse himself into the music he loves.
Materials, including honey ledge stone, weathered steel and TNG, were chosen to incorporate colors and textures into the structure. The interplay of the colors and textures of these materials creates visual interest in the home..
