JOHNSON RESIDENCE

Camano Island, Washington - Custom Home

Ferrill Residence exposed cmu and galvanized railings at the stairs balance the warm wood floor and window - Pelletier + Schaar

The mid-century modern design of this home was built for the Johnson family on a waterfront property on Camano Island, WA. The inverted shed roof gives the home the essence of mid-century nostalgia, while remaining perfectly integrated with it's pacific northwest surroundings.

Ferrill Residence galvanized steel spiral stairs connect gardens to the main floor deck - Pelletier + Schaar

The covered entrance finds beauty in symmetry through architecture, while the surrounding materials add tactile touches of wood and stone on a bold canvas of smokey black shingles. Large triple  bi-parting doors connect the homes living spaces directly to the breathtaking views of Saratoga Passage. The doors open up to a spacious deck to ensure optimal access to the beauty that can only be found on Camano Island.
