The owners of this Bellevue home wanted to give their home an exterior face lift and a new identity. Their vision was to create a new entry, new decks on the west and a covered canopy of the south side of the home. Pelletier + Schaar designed a dramatic steel entry element to give a clear sense of the main entry to the home. The canopy covered patio, braced by steel, double channel supports is comprised of glass and steel pipe beams, which allows natural light to flood the space. A new, slate tiled deck adds a fresh, classic look to the home’s exterior. Cable railing along the west and south sides of the new deck accentuate the home’s new appeal. The owner's can enjoy the spectacular view of Lake Washington and the city skyline from their beautiful new exterior spaces.
