Pelletier + Schaar was asked to design an addition and remodel for a growing insurance business situateded in the flood plain of downtown Stanwood. Thomas & Associates purchased an adjacent 1940s, 800sq. ft. neighboring home with a garage and shed to increase the business’s footprint to 4,600 sq. ft. The design included modifying a prior addition to the original office to bring the forms back into proportion and crafting the 1940s home into office space. To achieve a professional and cohesive image between the buildings, the front entrance was re-oriented and new landscaping and arbors were added
