This 3,300 square foot structure was designed and built to blend in with an existing commercial complex. The John L Scott firm had outgrown their Stanwood location and decided to add a new office on Camano Island. The design challenges included incorporating the new building into the established commercial area, using creative design to give the office a distinctive style that relates to the John L. Scott identity. Exterior materials such as a metal roof and cedar shingles were used to give the building the signature Pacific Northwest look. The entrance opens to a professional yet welcoming front desk. Above, a 400 square foot mezzanine overlooks a large, picturesque farm and forested region. This new office space gives the John L Scott firm lots of room to grow.
